ORDINANCE NO. 061198

 

Amending the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, by changing the land use designation from Districts GP-5 and GP-6 to District GP-3 for an approximately 3.1 acre tract of land located at the northeast corner of N.W. Barry Road and N. Conant Avenue. (247-S-102)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from Districts GP-5 (Medium Density Residential) and GP-6 (Low Density Residential) to District GP-3 (Regional Business) for an approximately 3.1 acre tract of land located at the northeast corner of N.W. Barry Road and N. Conant Avenue, and more specifically described as follows:

 

A tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 51, Range 34, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 895015 East along the South line of said Northwest Quarter, 799.82 feet to the True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described; thence North 001029 West, 386.51 feet; thence South 895015 East, parallel with the South line of said Northwest Quarter, 386.87 feet; thence South 00617 West, 386.50 feet to a point on the aforementioned South line of said Northwest Quarter; thence North 895015 West along said South line, 384.99 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Except the South 40.00 feet thereof taken for highway purposes. Containing 3.070 acres, more or less.

 

all as shown outlined on a map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices have been given and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been held.
