ORDINANCE NO. 930564

 

Amending Ordinance No. 930314, passed April 22, 1993 to correct the name of the contractor to read Deffenbaugh Disposal Service, Inc.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Ordinance No. 930314, passed April 22, 1993 is hereby amended to correct the name of the contractor by repealing and reenacting the title and sections 1 and 2 thereof to read as follows:

 

Title: Approving renewal of Contract No. 920774 with Deffenbaugh Disposal Service, Inc. for collection and disposal of solid waste at stated locations for the period May 1, 1993 through October 31, 1993, with a maximum consideration in the amount of $1,072,890.00.

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby

authorized to enter into a renewal of Contract No. 920774 with Deffenbaugh Disposal Service, Inc. for collection and disposal of solid waste for the period May 1, 1993 to October 31, 1993, with a maximum consideration in the amount of $1,072,890.00.

 

Section 2. That the work shall be done on unit price

basis in accordance with the contract therefor between Kansas City, Missouri, through its Director of Public Works, and Deffenbaugh Disposal Service, Inc., with the approximate number of dwelling units at 65,500. Unit price shall be $2.69 per unit per month except that a unit price of up to $2.90 per unit per month is authorized for up to 20% of the contract on a pass through basis for any portion of the contract subcontracted to a minority contractor.

 

Section B. That all sections of Ordinance No. 930314 not repealed and reenacted above shall remain effective.
