ORDINANCE NO. 970150

Consenting to the appointments of certain individuals to the Kansas City, Missouri Parking Commission.

WHEREAS, Committee Substitute for Resolution No. 960416 created the Kansas City, Missouri Parking Commission; and

WHEREAS, such Resolution provides for the appointment of nine individuals by the Mayor with the consent of the Council; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor has submitted the names of certain individuals for appointment to the Parking Commission in accordance with the terms of the Resolution, NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Council hereby consent to the following appointments by the Mayor to the Kansas City, Missouri Parking Commission:

Jim Denneny Chair, Economic Development Corporation Chairperson

Kay Waldo Barnes Chair, Tax Increment Financing Commission Member

Bailus Tate Chair, Port Authority Member

Michael Duffy Chair, Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority Member

Michael G. O'Flaherty Downtown Council Representative Member

D. Michael Posten Downtown Council Representative Member

John D. Yacos, III Downtown Council Representative Member

Ronald E. Finley City Council, Third District-at-large Member

Jimmy Lin Engineer with Bucher, Willis and Ratcliff Member
