ORDINANCE NO. 020183

Accepting and approving a one year contract amendment with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to extend the time period for a particulate matter 2.5 ambient air monitoring program.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That an amendment to the contract between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, acting through its Director of Administration, whereby the State will extend the time period for a particulate matter 2.5 ambient air monitoring program for the period of January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 02-248-050-2238, is hereby accepted and approved. The contract shall substantially conform to the copy which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
