ORDINANCE NO. 980851

Estimating and appropriating revenue in the amount of $78,276.00 to the Environmental Assessment Services account of the General Fund; authorizing execution of an Environmental Assessment Services Agreement with the Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, for environmental assessment services provided by the City; and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

99-100-064-8196 Cont. from Housing Authority-Environmental $78,276.00

Assessment

Section 2. That the sum of $78,276.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

99-100-064-2031-B Environmental Assessment $78,276.00

Section 3. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute an Environmental Assessment Services Agreement with the Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri, for environmental assessment services provided by the City of Kansas City for which the City will receive $78,276.00 for its services. A copy of the Environmental Assessment Services Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of the Environmental Assessment Services Agreement, together with a copy of this ordinance, in the office of the Department of Records of Jackson County, Missouri, and to file a copy with the office of the Secretary of the State of Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
