ORDINANCE NO. 980745

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0130, rezoning an area of approximately 6 acres generally bounded by 18th Street on the north, Kansas Avenue on the west, 19th Street on the south and College Avenue on the east, from District URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to District M-1 (Light Industry). BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0130, rezoning an area of approximately 6 acres generally bounded by 18th Street on the north, Kansas Avenue on the west, 19th Street on the south and College Avenue on the east, from District URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to District M-1 (Light Industry), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0130. That an area legally described as:

 

Lot 3 except portion in railroad right of way and all Lots 4-8, Preston Place 2nd Plat, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and all Lots 41-42, Block 2 and all Lots 1-2, Block 3, all in Grahams Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and all Lots 1-16 and the adjacent vacated alley, Block 1, P. A. Fredericks 3rd Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and all Lots 1-13 and the adjacent vacated alleys, J. B. Jacksons Subdivision, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and all Lots 1-22 and the adjacent vacated alley, Block 1, Kingston Place, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby rezoned from District URD (Urban Redevelopment District) to District M-1 (Light Industry), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0130, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
