ORDINANCE NO. 090640

Estimating revenue from assessments and appropriating funds for the 22nd Street Neighborhood Improvement District.

WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 090100, passed February, 12, 2009, the Council determined the advisability of the 22nd Street Neighborhood Improvement District, ordered its creation, directed the assessment roll to be prepared, set dates for the hearing, and published and mailed notice to all property owners regarding the 22nd Street Neighborhood Improvement District; and

WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 090188, passed March 19, 2009, the Council ordered that the Improvements within the 22nd Street Neighborhood Improvement District be made and financing be obtained by special assessment; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the Neighborhood Improvement District Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

10-6820-120000-484000 22nd Street NID Assessments $11,800.00

Section 2. That $11,800.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund balance of the Neighborhood Improvement District Fund to the following account in the Neighborhood Improvement District Fund:

10-6820-892405-B 22nd Street NID Improvements $11,800.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
