ORDINANCE NO. 940038

 

Authorizing Amendment No. 2 to an Agreement with Trans World Airlines, Inc. for Project No. A96 - TWA Reimbursement, Investigation of Solid Waste Management Unit 8 at Kansas City International Airport and the expenditure of previously appropriated funds in the amount of $100,000.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 2 to an Agreement for Project No. A96 - TWA Reimbursement, Investigation of Solid Waste Management Unit 8 at Kansas City International Airport with Trans World Airlines, Inc. A copy of the amendment is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amount heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airport Fund (93-821-062-7262-T1106) for work to be performed under the aforesaid agreement:

 

$100,000.00 Construction

 

Section 3. That the terms, conditions, privileges and obligations as set forth in said amendment are hereby approved.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
