ORDINANCE NO. 990336

 

Authorizing a $10,372.20 Supplemental Federal Aid STP-Urban Program Agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission for fracture critical bridge inspections and authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $10,372.20 in previously appropriated funds for the project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of the City, a Supplemental Federal Aid STP-Urban Program Agreement between the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission and the City of Kansas City, a municipal corporation of the State of Missouri, relating to fracture critical bridge inspections in Council District 3, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, Project No. 5437. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $10,372.20 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 99-100-089-7702-T as and for consideration in the aforesaid agreement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
