Approving a $35,100.00 contract with Heart of America Shakespeare Festival Committee for the Heart of America Shakespeare Festival (City-wide, Fourth and Sixth Council Districts); a $29,000.00 contract with South Suburban Junior Baseball League for Baseball Tournaments (Sixth Council District); a $27,000.00 contract with Kansas City Museum for "Summer Maze Mania" at the Kansas City Museum (City-wide, First and Sixth Districts); a $24,000.00 contract with Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival for the Kansas City Blues and Jazz Festival (City-wide, Fourth and Sixth Council Districts); a $20,000.00 contract with Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey for Alvin Ailey Dance Theater Residency (City-wide and Fifth Council Districts); a $20,000.00 contract with Creative Strategy Institute for Holiday Reunion Expo (City-wide and Fifth Council Districts); and a $20,000.00 contract with International Agricultural Summit for International Agricultural Summit (City-wide and First Council Districts).
