ORDINANCE NO. 960473

 

Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2647, rezoning an area of approximately 6.4 acres generally located at the southeast corner of I-435 and N.E. Pleasant Valley Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (10233-P-1)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2647, rezoning an area of approximately 6.4 acres generally located at the southeast corner of I-435 and N.E. Pleasant Valley Road from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 65.010A2647. That an area legally described as:

 

This is a subdivision of all that part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 51, Range 32, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 21; thence South 00 32'22" West along the east line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 21, a distance of 101.86 feet to a point on the south line of Pleasant Valley Road, as set forth in Tract No. 6 of a document recorded in Book 1176, page 100, as Document No. D-9074, March 3, 1975, said point being the point of beginning of the tract of land herein to be described; thence South 0 32'22" West, along said east line 1091.15 feet to a point on the easterly right of way line of U.S. Interstate Route No. 435 as set forth in Tract No. 6 of a document recorded in Book 1176, page 100, as Document No. D-9074, March 3, 1975; thence northwesterly along said right of way line, the following courses and distances: thence North 28 07'50" West, 382.05 feet; thence North 20 42'27" West, 353.94 feet; thence North 20 58'06" West, 455.93 feet to a point on the south line of said Pleasant Valley Road; thence South 89 41'06" East, 478.72 feet to the point of beginning. The above described tract of land contains 6.437 acres more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 65.010A2647, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
