ORDINANCE NO. 991149

 

Authorizing a $699,981.00 agreement with Burns & McDonnell for Project No. S63 - Richards-Gebaur Master Plan Study at Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport and appropriating funds in the amount of $789,981.00.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a $699,981.00 agreement for Project No. S63 - Richards-Gebaur Master Plan Study at Richards-Gebaur Memorial Airport with Burns & McDonnell. A copy of the agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the sum of $789,981.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Kansas City Airports Fund to the following account in the Capital Improvement Fund:

 

00-821-062-7612-T GVW Airport Facilities Development $789,981.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend the following amounts heretofore appropriated to the Kansas City Airports Fund, 00-821-062-761-T, for work to be performed under the aforesaid agreement:

 

$699,981.00 Consultant Services

$ 90,000.00 Contingent Obligations

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
