ORDINANCE NO. 110425

 

Authorizing the execution of a lease between the City of Kansas City, Missouri and the Janelle R. Flacks Trust for the City to lease real estate for parking operations at Kansas City International Airport.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a lease to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, from the Janelle R. Flacks Trust for the City to lease real estate for parking operations at Kansas City International Airport. The expenditure of funds for contract years two through ten, and for any renewal years, is subject to the appropriation of funds. A copy of the agreement is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed $192,000.00 for the first year of the initial ten (10) year term of the contract from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 12-8300-621045-B.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
