ORDINANCE NO. 020819

Authorizing a $68,750.00 Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission relating to improvements to the east side of Broadway Corridor from south of Harlem Road, north to exit ramp from southbound Broadway onto Richards Road; authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend $68,750.00 for the project; and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized, on behalf of the City, to enter into and execute, a $68,750.00 Cooperative Agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission relating to the improvements to the east side of Broadway Corridor from south of Harlem Road, north to the exit ramp from southbound Broadway onto Richards Road, MoDot No. J4I0766C, in Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 2. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $68,750.00 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 03-309-064-7225-T for the aforesaid agreement.

Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file copies of this ordinance, together with the Cooperative Agreement attached hereto, in the office of the Secretary of State of Missouri and in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Clay County, Missouri, together with all other relevant documents.
