ORDINANCE NO. 070323

 

Rezoning an area of approximately .002 acres generally located on the east side of Madison Avenue about 170 feet south of 17th Street from District R-4 to District R-2b, and rezoning approximately .11 acres in the same general area from District R-2b to District R-4. (13273-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0750, rezoning an area of approximately .002 acres generally located on the east side of Madison Avenue about 170 feet south of 17th Street from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0750. That an area legally described as:

 

The south 8 inches of Lot 21, Block 1, Jarboes Addition, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-4 (Low Apartments) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0750, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0753, rezoning an area of approximately .11 acres generally located on the east side of Madison Avenue about 170 feet south of 17th Street from District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0753. That an area legally described as:

 

The north 38.83 feet of Lot 21, Block 1, Jarboes Addition, all in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings) to District R-4 (Low Apartments), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0753, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 


Section C. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
