RESOLUTION NO. 070567

Directing the City Manager to work with the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners to determine if Little Blue Road, west of Noland Road, is more appropriate for designation as a boulevard than is Gregory.

WHEREAS, a major route will be constructed west of Noland Road; and

WHEREAS, initial discussion has considered the appropriateness of designating Gregory west of Noland Road as a boulevard; and

WHEREAS, Little Blue Road, west of Noland Road, is already receiving funding and design work is in process; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the City Manager is directed to work with the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners to determine whether if Little Blue Road, west of Noland Road, is more appropriate for designation as a boulevard than is Gregory.

Section 2. That the City Manager report to the Mayor and Council within forty-five days of passage of this Resolution.
