ORDINANCE NO. 970406

Reestimating revenue in various American Royal accounts of the General Fund in the amount of $500,000.00 and appropriating it to various American Royal Center Accounts; and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the revenue in the following accounts of the General Fund are hereby re-estimated in the following additional amounts:

97-100-063-5700 American Royal Concessions $150,000.00 97-100-063-5709 Kemper Memorial Arena Rentals 350,000.00 Total $500,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $500,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following accounts in the General Fund:

97-100-063-2200A American Royal Center Customer Operations $ 90,000.00 97-100-063-2200B American Royal Center Customer Operations 250,000.00 97-100-063-2200C American Royal Center Customer Operations 45,000.00 97-100-063-7200T Kemper Arena Improvements 115,000.00 Total $500,000.00

Section 3. That this ordinance is recognized as an emergency ordinance within Section 15 of the City Charter and takes effect immediately upon passage.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
