COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 001580

 

Authorizing execution of a $35,000.00 Cooperative Agreement with the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, for the preparation of the Eastgate Corridor Land Use and Development Plan and directing the City Clerk to file the documents with the appropriate offices.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a Cooperative Agreement with the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City, Missouri, in an amount not to exceed $35,000.00, for professional services for the preparation of the Eastgate Corridor Land Use and Development Plan to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-100-064-2320-B. A copy of the Cooperative Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of this ordinance, together with the Cooperative Agreement attached hereto, in the office of the Secretary of State of Missouri and in the office of the Department of Records of Jackson County, Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
