ORDINANCE NO. 980385

 

Repealing Section 1 of Ordinance No. 941411, passed November 3, 1994; authorizing an agreement with Aviation Systems Maintenance, Inc. (ASMI); enacting in lieu thereof a new section of like number and subject; and expending of funds.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 941411, passed November 3, 1994, is hereby repealed and a new Section 1 is enacted as follows:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute a three year maintenance agreement with two one-year renewable options with ASMI to provide ILS maintenance at Richards-Gebaur Airport. The Director of Aviation is authorized to exercise the two one-year options to renew upon the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement, subject to appropriation of funds for the renewal years.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to expend an amount not to exceed as follows: contract year four in the amount of $25,000.00 from the funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 98-821-062-2230-B-1906; and contract year five to be exercised after May 1, 1998, in the amount of $25,000.00 subject to Council approval of the fiscal year 1999 Budget appropriating funds to Account No. 99-821-062-2230-B-1628.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
