ORDINANCE NO. 030011

Establishing Sewer District No. 13054 and reestablishing Sewer District No. 13001, all in Sewer Division No. 13, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, being generally bounded by 100th Street Terrace on the north, Tullis Avenue on the east, 103rd Street Terrace on the south and Blue Ridge Boulevard Extension on the west, and repealing Section 1 of Ordinance No.. 034919 passed February 16, 1968, establishing Sewer District No. 13.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That Sewer District No. 13054, in Sewer Division No. 13, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to-wit:

Beginning at the intersection of the westerly prolongation of the north line of Lot 4, Lawstom Acres, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, with the centerline of Blue Ridge Boulevard Extension; thence easterly along said westerly prolongation, and along the north line of said Lot 4, to the west line of Lot 5, said subdivision; thence north along said west line and along the northerly prolongation thereof, to its intersection with the centerline of 100th Street Terrace; thence east along the centerline of 100th Street Terrace, to its intersection with the northerly prolongation of the east line of Lot 7, said subdivision; thence southerly along said northerly prolongation and along the east line of said Lot 7, to the north line of Lot 28, Ruskin Acres, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence east along the north line of Lots 28, 29 and 30 said subdivision, to the northeast corner of said Lot 30, thence south along the east line of said Lot 30, to the northwest corner Lot 31, said subdivision; thence east along the north line of said Lot 31 and the north lines of Lots 1 and 2, Bayton Place, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, and the north line of Lot 33, Ruskin Acres subdivision to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Country View Acres, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence east along the north line of Lot 1, 2 and 3, said subdivision to the northeast corner of said Lot 3; thence continuing east along a straight line to the northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 31, Township 48 North, Range 32 West; thence south along the west line of said Quarter Quarter to the intersection of the centerline of 102nd Street.; thence west along the centerline of 102nd Street to the intersection with the northerly prolongation of the east line of Lot 9 of said subdivision; thence south along the said northerly prolongation and east line of said Lot 9 to the intersection with the north right-of-way line of Interstate 470; thence westerly along said right-of-way line to the intersection with the centerline of Blue Ridge Boulevard Extension; thence north along said centerline to the point of beginning.

Section 2. That Sewer District No. 13001, in Sewer Division No. 13, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby re-established, the boundary lines of which are described as follows, to-wit:

Beginning at the intersection of the south right-of-way line of Interstate 470 and the east line of Lot 9, Country View Acres, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence south along the said east line to the southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence westerly along the south line of Lots 9 and 10, said subdivision to the southeast corner of Lot 34, Ruskin Acres, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence westerly along the south line of Lots 34 and 35 said subdivision to the southeast corner of Lot 7, Phillips Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 7 to the southwest corner thereof; thence west across Oakland Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 6 said subdivision; thence west along the south line of said Lot 6 to the southwest corner thereof; thence north along the west line of said Lot 6 to the southeast corner of Lot 8, Kostecka Addition, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; thence west along the south line of said Lot 8 to the southwest corner thereof; thence west across Eastern Avenue to the southeast corner of Lot 7, said subdivision; thence westerly along the south line of said Lot 7 to the southeast corner of Lot 38 of Ruskin Acres subdivision; thence westerly along the south line of Lots 38 and 21 said subdivision to the intersection with the south right-of-way line of Interstate 470; thence easterly along said right-of-way line to the point of beginning.

Section 3. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 34919 passed February 16, 1968, establishing Sewer District No. 13001 in Sewer Division No. 13, is hereby repealed.

The Sewer Districts herein proposed and this ordinance are recommended for approval and passage this _____ day of ____________, 2003.
