RESOLUTION NO. 010740

Directing the City Manager to exclude from future budget proposals revenue estimates which are based on increases in fees which have not been approved by the Council.

WHEREAS, the City Managers budget submittal for FY 2001-02 contained some revenue estimates which were based on fee increases which had not been approved by the Council; and

WHEREAS, the Council would prefer that all revenue estimates in future budget proposals submitted by the City Manager be based on existing fees or fee increases which do not require Council approval; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council hereby directs the City Manager to exclude from future budget proposals revenue estimates which are based on increases in fees which have not been approved by the Council at the time of the submittal of the budget proposal.
