ORDINANCE NO. 061294

 

Accepting a Missouri Warranty Deed from EDC Charitable Fund conveying to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, certain property in Jackson County, Missouri, all for public use and directing the City Clerk to file the same.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the deed from EDC Charitable Fund f/k/a KCCID Charitable Fund, a Missouri not-for profit corporation, conveying property to the City of Kansas City, Missouri, for public purpose for and recorded as Instrument No. 2006E0083699 in the Office of Recorder of Deeds, Jackson County, Missouri, is hereby accepted. The property is legally described as follows:

 

Parcel 1: All of Lot 13, Except the West 2 inches thereof, and Except the South 68 feet thereof, Block 1, DUNDEE PLACE, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof.

 

Parcel 2: The South 68 feet of Lot 13, Block 1, DUNDEE PLACE, Except the West 2.5 inches thereof, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof; and Except that part lying within the widths on the left or easterly side of the following described South lane of the Baseline for the construction of Bruce R. Watkins Drive, to wit: A width of 160.70 feet at Station 33+09.30; thence increasing uniformly to a width of 174.48 feet to Station 34+47.63; The South lane of the Baseline for the construction of Bruce R. Watkins Drive is located and described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of Section 5, Township 49 North, Range 33 West; thence North 87 degrees 22 minutes 24.5 seconds West a distance of 628.28 feet to a point on said centerline at Station 32+23.59; thence the centerline extends South 17 degrees 38 minutes 06.4 seconds East a distance of 312.80 feet to Point of Curve Station 35+36.39, which is the beginning of 2 degree 30 minute curve to the right with an interior angle of 26 degrees 23 minutes 27.8 seconds; thence Southeasterly along said curve a distance of 1.062.31 feet to Point of Tangent Station 45+98.70

 

Parcel 3: All of Lot 12 and the West 2.5 inches of Lot 13, Block 1, DUNDEE PLACE, a subdivision in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof; Except that part lying within the widths on the left or easterly side of the following described South lane of the Base line for the construction of Bruce R. Watkins Drive, to wit: A width of 160.70 feet at Station 33+09.30; thence increasing uniformly to a width of 174.48 feet to Station 34+47.63; The South lane of the Baseline for the construction of Bruce R. Section 2. That upon the effective date of this ordinance the City Clerk is hereby directed to record a copy of this ordinance in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds for Jackson County, Missouri, as evidence of the acceptance of the herein described property by the city for public use purposes.
