ORDINANCE NO. 940980
Amending Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas City,
Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, by adding a new section
to be known as Section 65.010A2538, rezoning an area of approximately 5.2 acres
generally located at 3909 East 100th Terrace from District R-3 (Low Apartments)
to District R-1a (One- Family Dwellings).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That Chapter 65, Revised Ordinances of Kansas
City, Missouri, 1956, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended
by enacting a new section to be known as Section 65.010A2538, rezoning an area
of approximately 5.2 acres generally located at 3909 East 100th Terrace from
District R-3 (Low Apartments) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said
section to read as follows:
Section 65.010A2538. That an area legally described
as:
The west 88 1/3 feet of the following described
tract: All that part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 34, Township
48, Range 33, in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri, described as
follows: Beginning at a point 800 feet north of the south line and 517
feet west of the east line of said 1/4 Section; thence northerly
852.74 feet more or less to a point 535 feet west of the east line
and 991.8 feet south of the north line of said 1/4 Section; thence west
along line parallel with the north line of said 1/4 Section 265 feet to a
point; thence south along line parallel with the east line of said
1/4 Section 852.76 feet more or less to a point which is 800 feet
north of the south line of said 1/4 Section; thence east 283 feet to the
point of beginning.
is hereby rezoned from District R-3 (Low Apartments) to
District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked
Section 65.010A2538, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which
is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a
part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 65.010 thereof.
Section B. That the Council finds and declares that
before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public
notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
