RESOLUTION NO. 030126

Honoring Carolyn Case for her more than 33 years of dedicated service to Kansas City on the occasion of her retirement from the City Planning and Development Department.

WHEREAS, Carolyn Case has been an outstanding employee of Kansas City, Missouri for more than 33 years; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn began her career with Kansas City on August 11, 1969, in the City Planning and Development Department; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn received promotions and acknowledgment of her service to Kansas City throughout her years of employment; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn is concluding her career in a position of responsibility as a Graphic Design Specialist in the City-Wide Planning and Research Division of the City Planning and Development Department; and

WHEREAS, Carolyn has served the City Planning and Development Department with distinction, demonstrating a level of commitment and devotion to her work and performing her duties in a superior manner; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That the Mayor and Council hereby extend to Carolyn Case, on the occasion of her retirement from City service, their heartiest best wishes for her future together with their most sincere appreciation for her more than 33 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Kansas City; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council in testimony thereof and that a copy hereof be provided to Ms. Case in token of their respect and high regard, and their best wishes for a long and happy retirement which she so richly deserves.
