ORDINANCE NO. 990887

 

Authorizing execution of a $15,000.00 Cooperative Agreement with the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for business development and marketing assistance; and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development, on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized to execute a Cooperative Agreement with the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, in the amount of $15,000.00, for business development and marketing assistance to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 00-100-064-2310-B - Area Plans and Annexation. A copy of the Cooperative Agreement, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of the Cooperative Agreement, together with a copy of this ordinance, with the office of the Department of Records of Jackson County, Missouri, and to file a copy with the Secretary of State of Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
