Rezoning approximately 38.7 acres generally located south of
N.W. 88th Street and east of N. Platte Purchase Drive from District RA to
District R-2b. (11426-P-20)
BE IT ORDAINED
BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, commonly
known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to
be known as Section 80-11A0625, rezoning an area of approximately 38.7 acres
generally located south of N.W. 88th Street and east of N. Platte Purchase
Drive from District RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings),
said section to read as follows:
Section 80-11A0625. That an area
legally described as:
A tract of land in
the Fractional Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas
City, Clay County, Missouri, being bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Fractional Northwest Quarter; thence
North 0o3034 East along the West line of said Fractional Northwest
Quarter, 512.05 feet; thence South 89o2926 East, 49.15 feet to the
True Point of Beginning of the tract to be herein described, said point being
also a point on the Easterly right-of-way line of N. Platte Purchase Drive, as

West, 791.60 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Containing 38.68 acres, more
or less.
is hereby rezoned from District
RA (Agricultural) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown
outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0625, which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the
zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section
80-11 thereof.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
