ORDINANCE NO. 070568

Approving the Petition to establish North Oak Village Community Improvement District; establishing North Oak Village Community Improvement, an area of approximately 29.11 acres generally bounded by N.E. Vivion Road on the south, and N. Oak Trafficway on the west; and directing the City Clerk to report the creation of the District to the Missouri Department of Economic Development.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Petition to establish North Oak Village Community Improvement District as a separate political subdivision in accordance with the Missouri Community Improvement District Act, Sections 67.1401 67.1571, RSMo., is approved in its entirety. The Petition is attached to this Ordinance as Exhibit 1.

Section 2. That the District is established for the purposes set forth in the Petition, shall have all the powers and authority authorized by the petition, the Act, and by law, and shall continue to exist and function for a period of no less than 30 years following the effective date of this Ordinance, and thereafter until terminated in accordance with the Missouri Community Improvement District Act.

Section 3. That pursuant to Section 67.1421.6 RSMo. the City Clerk is directed to report the creation of the District by sending a copy of this ordinance to the Missouri Department of Economic Development upon its effective date.
