ORDINANCE NO. 010401

 

Authorizing execution of a $95,000.00 contract with LORD Cultural Resources Planning and Management, Inc., for planning services for the Town of Kansas Market Analysis and directing the City Clerk to file certain documents with the appropriate offices.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of the Department of City Development is hereby authorized to execute a contract with LORD Cultural Resources Planning and Management, Inc., not to exceed $95,000.00, for planning services for the Town of Kansas Market Analysis generally bounded by the Missouri River on the north, Second Street on the south, Broadway Bridge on the west and the All Saints Bridge on the east, to be paid from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 01-100-064-2345-B, Town of Kansas Management Plan. A copy of the contract, in substantial form, is attached hereto and is hereby approved.

 

Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a copy of this ordinance, together with the contract, with the Office of the Secretary of State of Missouri and with the Department of Records of Jackson County, Missouri.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
