ORDINANCE NO. 941654

Authorizing expenditure of $2,217.82 in additional funds for adjustments to water facilities necessitated by the Southwest Boulevard Streetscape Improvements.

WHEREAS, the City Council passed Ordinance No. 940372 on April 28, 1994, authorizing expenditure of $18,190.00 for water facilities adjustments in conjunction with the Southwest Boulevard Streetscape Improvements; and

WHEREAS, it is now necessary to install a 5-foot diameter pre-cast manhole around an existing water valve at 802 Southwest Boulevard in order to complete these adjustments; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of Water and Pollution Control is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $2,217.82 from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 95-801-080-7701-T to complete the water facilities adjustments necessitated by the Southwest Boulevard Streetscape Improvements Contract No. 1232 being administered by the Public Works Department. _____________________________________________

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
