COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR RESOLUTION NO. 920679, AS AMENDED

Appointing bond counsel in connection with the sale of bonds during the 1992-93 fiscal year.

WHEREAS, the City desires to sell bonds for the purpose of constructing various improvements and refunding outstanding bonds during the 1992-93 fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, the Council believes that it would be advantageous and cost-effective to retain bond counsel to serve for the entire fiscal year; and

WHEREAS, the bond counsel appointed herein have been selected on the basis of qualifications determined by their responses to Request for Proposals; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

That for the remainder of the fiscal year, Barnes, McGhee, Neal, Poston & Seque will serve as bond counsel for all bond issues for the City of Kansas City, Missouri with the firms of Fields, Brown, Williams & Clark; Basil L. North, Jr. & Associates; Herbert E. Hardwick, attorney; and Ramon Murgia, attorney, serving as co-counsel on said issues.
