ORDINANCE NO. 961580

Adjusting appropriations by $139,444.00 for sewer crossings on Shoal Creek and Line Creek Parkways; authorizing the Director of Public Works to expend said funds for the project; and authorizing assessment of the costs against the properties benefited in the districts as may be created in the future by ordinance.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the sum of $139,444.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Special Assessment Bond Fund, Series 1991, to the following accounts in the Sewer Special Assessment Bond Fund, Series 1991:

97-301-089-7187-T Shoal Creek Parkway Sewer Crossings $ 54,303.00 97-301-089-7257-T Line Creek Parkway Sewer Crossings 85,141.00 TOTAL $139,444.00

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend said sums for the purposes appropriated for the construction of that portion of the sewer crossing to be hereafter assessed against benefitted properties located in said sewer districts as may be subsequently prescribed by ordinance authorizing the balance of the sewer system to be constructed in said sewer districts, all in accordance with the provisions of Article VIII of the Charter relating to the special assessments for sewerage improvements.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
