ORDINANCE NO. 991195

Establishing the 1999A General Improvement Airport Refunding Bond Fund; estimating revenue in the 1999A General Improvement Airport Refunding Bond Fund and appropriating the same; appropriating $6,075,035.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Kansas City Airports Fund; estimating revenue in the Kansas City Airports Fund; reducing appropriations in the Kansas City Airports Fund; designating requisitioning authority; and authorizing the Director of Finance to close project accounts upon completion.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Fund Number 830, 1999A General Improvement Airport Refunding Bond Fund, is hereby established in the records of the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

Section 2. That the sum of $6,075,035.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Kansas City Airports Fund to the following account:

00-821-012-9459B Trsfr to 1999A Gen Improv Airport Rfdg Bd Fd $ 6,075,035.00

Section 3. That the revenue in the following accounts of the 1999A General Improvement Airport Refunding Bond Fund is hereby estimated in the following amounts:

00-830-012-9000 Proceeds from Sale of Bonds $35,260,001.00

00-830-012-6004 Interest on InvestmentDefeasance Escrow 17,681.00

00-830-012-8510 Premium on Bonds Sold 30,828.00

00-830-012-9238 Transfer from Kansas City Airports Fund 6,075,035.00

Total $41,883,545.00

Section 4. That the sum of $41,883,535.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the 1999A General Improvement Airport Refunding Bond Fund to the following accounts:

00-830-012-9620B Bond Issue Expense $ 182,155.00

00-830-012-9667G Defeasance of Series 1989A 38,058,810.00

00-830-012-9631B Discount on Sale of Bonds 116,570.00

00-830-012-9468B Transfer to Kansas City Airports Fund 3,526,000.00

Total $41,883,535.00

Section 5. That the revenue in the following accounts of the Kansas City Airports Fund is hereby estimated in the following additional amounts:

00-821-062-6071 Accrued Interest Sale of Bonds $ 55,718.00

00-821-012-9215 Trsfr fr 1999A Gen Improv Airport Ref Bd Fd $ 3,526,000.00

Section 6. That the appropriation in the following account of the Kansas City Airports Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

00-821-062-9600G Debt Service $ 179,803.00

Section 7. That the Director of Finance is hereby designated as the requisitioning authority for Account Nos. 00-830-012-9620B, 00-830-012-9667G, 00-830-012-9631B, 00-830-012-9468B and 00-821-012-9459B.

Section 8. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to close project accounts upon project completion and return the unspent portion of the appropriation to the Fund Balance from which it came.
