ORDINANCE NO. 060008

 

Authorizing the Director of City Development to execute an easement with the Kansas City Power & Light Company for the construction and maintenance of electrical facilities on City-owned property commonly known as Kansas City Fire Station #14, N. Brighton and 152 Highway, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri.

 

WHEREAS, it has been determined that an easement is necessary to construct and maintain electrical facilities in the vicinity of N. Brighton and 152 Highway, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri; NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of City Development is hereby authorized to execute an agreement, on behalf of the City, granting an easement to the Kansas City Power & Light Company on City-owned property in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri at N. Brighton and 152 Highway, which is legally described as follows:

 

Tracts of land 10 feet in width being a part of Tract C, North Brighton Commerce Center 2nd Plat, a subdivision in Clay County, Missouri, the centerlines of which are described as follows: beginning at a point that is 9 feet due East from the Northeast corner of said Tract 2; thence South 67o0250 West, a distance of 58 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as point A; thence South 00o0000 East, a distance of 112 feet. Also, beginning at aforesaid point A; thence South 67o0250 West, a distance of 20 feet; thence North 89o3013 West to the West line of said Tract 2.

 

Except any part lying in street right-of-way thereof.

 

This easement conveyance shall run with the land and shall be binding upon the Grantor, its successors and assigns.
