ORDINANCE NO. 200827

 

Authorizing the Director of Neighborhoods and Housing Services to enter into a Non-Municipal Agency contract with Mattie Rhodes in the amount of $65,000.00 for the Northeast Alliance Together (NEAT) program.

 

WHEREAS, the NEAT program will partner with neighborhoods in the Historic Northeast including Independence Plaza, Indian Mound, Lykins, Pendleton Heights, Scarritt Renaissance and Sheffield to implement residential and economic development strategic goals for the purpose of revitalization and stabilization of these neighborhoods; NOW, THEREFORE,

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Neighborhoods and Housing Services is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Mattie Rhodes for the NEAT program in the amount of $65,000.00 from funds previously appropriated to the following account:

 

21-1000-572349-B Neighborhood Initiatives $65,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
