COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO. 980728

 

Authorizing the Director of Environmental Management to accept a $17,300.00 grant from the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) for the purpose of developing a Waste Oil Recycling program; estimating revenue and appropriating $17,300.00 to reflect that funding; and designating the Director of Environmental Management as requisitioning authority for the account.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

99-100-085-8195 MARC Waste Oil Development Grant $17,300.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $17,300.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following account in the General Fund:

 

99-100-085-1012-B MARC Waste Oil Development $17,300.00

 

Section 3. That the Director of Environmental Management is hereby authorized as the requisitioning authority for Account No. 99-100-085-1012.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
