COMMITTEE SUBTITUTE FOR RESOLUTION NO. 070606

 

Repealing Resolution No. 070423, and enacting a new resolution finding and declaring it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grades on NW. Barry Road from N. Potomac Avenue approximately 5,168 feet east to N. Conant Avenue, and on N. Amity Avenue from NW Barry Road northerly to approximately 3,432 feet, all in Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri.

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Council hereby repeals Resolution No. 070423.

Section 2. That the Council finds and declares it to be necessary to change and re-establish the grades on NW Barry Road from Potomac (Sta. 324 + 60) east to Conant (Sta. 376 + 28), and North Amity at NW Barry Rd. from Sta. 99 + 88.78 northerly to Sta.128 + 53.81 to make improvements in accordance with the provisions of Section 224, Article VII of the Charter of Kansas City, and as shown on the plans for Project No. 8078 on file in the office of the Director of Public Works, locating and defining the adjacent grade points on said street, on the baseline of the roadway, which shall be connected by straight grade (tangents) or vertical curves between such grade points, the elevations of which are herein given below in feet above the NAVD 1988 datum, to wit:

All grade points are on the new centerline of NW Barry Road as found in plans for Project 8078 in the office of the Director of Public Works. Said centerline begins at Sta. 324 + 60, having a coordinate of North 1121708.456, and East 2733777.776 thence easterly along centerline approximately 5,168 feet to Sta. 370 + 27.06, having a coordinate of North 1121635.248, and East 2738343.579. All grade points are measured at a point on the new centerline of North Amity. Said centerline begins at Sta. 99 + 88.78 = Sta. (346 + 35.59) NW Barry Road, having a coordinate of North 1121702.50, and East 2735894.44, thence northerly along centerline of North Amity approximately 3,964.81 feet to Station 128 + 53.81, which has a coordinate of North 1126057.19, and East 2735697.95 to wit:
