ORDINANCE NO. 140477

 

Approving a development plan in District R-6 to allow multiple principal residential buildings on a 0.70 acre lot, generally located on the south side of E. 85th Street between Euclid Avenue on the west and Brooklyn Avenue on the east. (14470-P)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That a development plan in District R-6 (Residential 6) to allow multiple principal residential buildings on a 0.70 acre lot, generally located on the south side of E. 85th Street between Euclid Avenue on the west and Brooklyn Avenue on the east, and more specifically described as follows:

 

All that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 48, Range 33 described as follows: Beginning 328.9 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter; thence South, 265.21 feet; thence West, 125 feet; thence North, 265.21 feet; thence East, 125 feet to the Point of Beginning in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

 

is hereby approved, subject to the following conditions:

 

1.                  That the developer cause the area to be platted and processed in accordance with Chapter 88, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri.

 

2.                  That the developer dedicate additional right of way for 85th Street as required by the adopted Major Street Plan so as to provide a minimum of 40 feet of right of way as measured from the centerline, and ensure that right of way dedication is adequate for any proposed road improvements as required by the Public Works Department adjacent to this project.

 

3.                  That the developer construct a concrete drive approach along the south side of 85th Street to replace the gravel approach, as required by the Land Development Division.

 

A copy of said development plan is on file in the office of the City Clerk with this ordinance and is made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
