ORDINANCE NO. 971479

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0093, rezoning an area of approximately 12.72 acres generally located approximately 400 feet north of N.E. Parvin Road on the west side of N. Bennington Road from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings). (12010-P-2)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0093, rezoning an area of approximately 12.72 acres generally located approximately 400 feet north of N.E. Parvin Road on the west side of N. Bennington Road from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0093. That an area legally described as:

 

All that part of the West 1/2 of Section 4, Township 50, Range 32, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: The East 3/4 of the South 1/2 of the South 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 4 except the following described parcels, except the north 300 feet, and the south 504 feet of the east 250 feet, and the south 300 feet except the east 545 feet, and except any portion contained in roadways, streets and highways.

 

is hereby rezoned from District R-1b (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-2b (Two-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0093, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
