ORDINANCE NO. 981415

 

Amending Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances, by adding a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0185, rezoning an area of approximately 2.2 acres generally located 1,200 feet east of N. Troost Avenue at N.E. 82nd Terrace from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center and R-1a (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings). (4460-P-3)

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That Chapter 80, Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, 1996, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amended by enacting a new section to be known as Section 80-11A0185, rezoning an area of approximately 2.2 acres generally located 1,200 feet east of N. Troost Avenue at N.E. 82nd Terrace from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center and R-1a (One Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), said section to read as follows:

 

Section 80-11A0185. That an area legally described as:

 

A tract of land located in the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 12, Township 51, Range 33, Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 8833'09" West along the south line of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter, a distance of 338.88 feet; thence North 0100'33" East, a distance of 282.23 feet; thence South 8833'07" East, a distance of 335.87 feet to a point of the east line of the Northwest Quarter of said Southwest Quarter; thence South 0023'56" West along said east line, a distance of 282.27 feet to the point of beginning. Contains 95,214 square feet or 2.185 acres, more or less.

 

is hereby rezoned from Districts CP-2 (Local Planned Business Center) and R-1a (One-Family Dwellings) to District R-1a (One-Family Dwellings), all as shown outlined on a map marked Section 80-11A0185, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the zoning maps constituting a part of said chapter and as an amendment to Section 80-11 thereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
