Amending the General
Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport, as amended,
by changing the land use designation from general industry to regional business
for an approximately 3.5 acre tract of land generally located approximately
1,050 feet north of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road and on the west side of N.
Congress Avenue. (247-S-75)
BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section A. That
the General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International Airport,
as amended, is hereby amended by changing the land use designation from general
industry to regional business for an approximately 3.5 acre tract of land
generally located approximately 1,050 feet north of N.W. Tiffany Springs Road
and on the west side of N. Congress Avenue, and more specifically described as
follows:
TRACT
B: All that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 1, Township 51, Range
34, Kansas City, Platte County, Missouri, described as follows: Commencing at
the southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence North
00E28'39" East, along the east line of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section 1, a distance of 1043.0 feet to the point of beginning
of the tract of land herein to be described; thence South 89E51'35" West, a distance of 380.0 feet; thence North 00E28'39" East and parallel to the east line of the Northwest Quarter
of said Section 1, a distance of 396.0 feet; thence North 89E51'35" East, a distance of 380.0 feet to the east line of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section 1; thence South 00E28'39" West, along the east line of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section 1, a distance of 396.0 feet to the point of beginning. Said tract of
land contains 3.5 acres, more or less.
all as shown outlined on a
map marked General Development and Land Use Plan, Kansas City International
Airport, as amended, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, and which
is hereby adopted as a part of an amendment to the aforesaid plan and as an
amendment to Section 80-206.
Section B. That
the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed
amendment hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning
Ordinance have been given and had.
