ORDINANCE NO. 961464
Estimating revenue in the amount of $645,000.00 in the
TWA Special Facility Capital Project Fund; appropriating $2,100,000.00 from the
Unappropriated Fund Balance of the TWA Special Facility Capital Project Fund;
appropriating $6,900,000.00 from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the 1967
Special Facility Airport Revenue Bond Fund; designating requisitioning
authority; and recognizing an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the revenue in the following
account of the TWA Special Facility Capital Project Fund is hereby estimated in
the following amount:
92-823-012-6000 Interest on
Investments $ 645,000.00
Section 2. That the sum of $2,100,000.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the TWA Special Facility
Capital Project Fund to the following account:
97-823-012-9140T Refund of Prior-Year
Revenues $2,100,000.00
Section 3. That the sum of $6,900,000.00 is hereby
appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the 1967 Special Facility
Airport Revenue Bond Fund to the following accounts:
97-827-062-9600G Debt
Service $3,500,000.00 97-827-012-9140B Refund of
Prior-Year Revenues
3,400,000.00 $6,900,000.00
Section 4. That the Director of Finance is hereby
designated as requisitioning authority for the following accounts:
97-823-012-9140 and 97-827-012-9140.
Section 5. That this ordinance, making an
appropriation for the current expense of the City government, is recognized as
an emergency measure within the provisions of Section 15, Article II of the
Charter of Kansas City, and shall take effect immediately upon passage.

unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing
expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in
the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each
