ORDINANCE NO. 941320

 

Approving a Community Unit Project on a 6.61 acre tract of land generally located on the west side of N. Oak Trafficway, approximately 200 feet south of N.E. 50th Terrace.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section A. That a Community Unit Project on a 6.61 acre tract of land generally located on the west side of N. Oak Trafficway, approximately 200 feet south of N.E. 50th Terrace, and more specifically described as follows:

 

All that part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 51, Range 33 in Kansas City, Clay County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the East line of said Quarter Section, 830.00 feet north of the southeast corner thereof; thence North 8918'41" West (Deed - North 8946'20" West), 662.00 feet; thence North 6518'41" West (Deed - North 6546'20" West), 355.00 feet; thence North 5311'36" West (Deed - North 5339'15" West), 98.45 feet (Deed - 99.00 feet); thence northeasterly, on a curve to the right, having a radius of 1950.00 feet, the initial tangent of which bears North 2611'16" East (Deed - North 2650'45" East), an arc distance of 168.37 feet; thence continuing along a curve to the right, having a radius of 1186.00 feet, and a common tangent with the last described course, 107.72 feet (Deed - 112.00 feet); thence South 53"11'21" East (Deed - South 5339'00" East), 152.16 feet (Deed - 152.00 feet); thence South 6411'21" East (Deed - South 6439'00" East), 128.00 feet; thence South 8111'21" East (Deed - South 8139'00" East), 138.00 feet; thence North 8433'39" East (Deed - North 8406'00" East), 242.00 feet; thence South 8905'21" East (Deed - South 8933'00" East), 307.31 feet to a point on the east line of said Southwest Quarter, 300.00 feet north of the point of beginning; thence South 033'39" West (Deed - South 006'00" West), 300.00 feet to the point of beginning, together with the southeasterly one-half of vacated Main Street adjacent to the above described tract.

 

is hereby approved. A copy of said Community Unit Project plan is on file in the office of the City Clerk under Document No. 941320, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.

 

Section B. That the Council finds and declares that before taking any action on the proposed community unit project hereinabove, all public notices and hearings required by the Zoning Ordinance have been given and had.
