Appropriating the amount of $950,000.00 to provide funding
for health and benefit programs for City employees and to increase the amount
available for Contingent Appropriation.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:
Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby reestimated in
the following additional amount:
05-1000-140000-485700 Hospital
and Life Insurance Prem Reimb $950,000.00
Section 2. That
the sum of $950,000.00 is hereby appropriated to the following accounts in the
General Fund:
05-1000-142110-B Retirement
and Benefits $350,000.00
05-1000-179990-B Contingent
Appropriation 600,000.00
$950,000.00

I hereby certify that there is a balance,
otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the
foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise
unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is
