ORDINANCE NO. 001059

 

Estimating revenue in the amount of $140,000.00 in the General Fund and appropriating it to the Youth Services FEC Grant account of the General Fund to fund an agreement with the Full Employment Council to provide a comprehensive recreational program for youth.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the revenue in the following account of the General Fund is hereby estimated in the following amount:

 

01-100-070-8081 01 FEC Recreation Grant $140,000.00

 

Section 2. That the sum of $140,000.00 is hereby appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following accounts in the General Fund:

 

01-100-070-2524-B Youth Services FEC Grant $124,185.50

01-100-070-2524-C Youth Services FEC Grant 15,814.50

TOTAL $140,000.00

 

Section 3. That the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners is hereby designated as requisitioning authority for Account No. 01-100-070-2524.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
