ORDINANCE NO. 140673

 

Authorizing a $538,000.00 contract with Tetra Tech, Inc. for the Northeast Industrial District Basin Sewer Separation Diversion Structure 006 project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Water Services Department is hereby authorized to execute Contract No. 1110, Project No. 81000701, in the amount of $538,000.00, with Tetra Tech, Inc. for design professional services for the Northeast Industrial District Basin Sewer Separation Diversion Structure 006 project. A copy of the contract is on file in the office of the Director of Water Services.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to expend up to the sum of $538,000.00 from Account No. AL-8186-807769-B-611040-81000701, Overflow Control Plan, to satisfy the costs of this project.

 

Section 3. That the Director of Water Services is authorized to approve a maximum expenditure of $1,100,000.00 for the contract without additional City Council approval.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
