ORDINANCE NO. 141058

 

Authorizing the Director of General Services Department to execute a Contract Amendment to the Management Agreement and Lease with the American Jazz Museum, Inc. to provide annual funds of $492,363.00, from the American Jazz Museum account, for management and operations of the 18th and Vine Project.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of General Services Department is hereby authorized to execute a Contract Amendment to the Management Agreement and Lease with the American Jazz Museum, Inc., to provide annual funds in the total amount of $492,363.00, for management of the 18th and Vine Project from funds previously appropriated to Account No. 15-1000-071716-B, American Jazz Museum, for the period from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015. A copy of the Contract Amendment is on file in the office of the Director of General Services.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
