COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDINANCE NO.960738

Authorizing a tenth amendment to the agreement with the 18th and Vine Authority, increasing the amount of the Authority's advance from $30,000.00 to $75,000.00, and adding $1,925,250.00 for the 18th and Vine Project.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the Director of City Development is authorized to execute, on behalf of the City, a tenth amendment to the agreement with the 18th and Vine Authority, increasing the amount of the Authority's advance from $30,000.00 to $75,000.00, and adding $1,925,250.00 for detailing, fabrication and installation of exhibits for the Jazz Museum for the 18th and Vine Project from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 94-399-064-7350T. The amendment is approved in substantial form as that attached to this ordinance.

Section 2. That the Director of City Development is authorized to expend $1,925,250.00 from Account No. 94-399-064-7350T for the amendment.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
