ORDINANCE NO. 090238

 

Accepting and approving a contract amendment $53,537.40 with the University of Kansas Medical Center to provide additional case management services to eligible clients in the Kansas City Transitional Grant Area who meet Ryan White Title I guidelines.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That a contract amendment between the City of Kansas City, Missouri, acting through its Director of Health, and the University of Kansas Medical Center, acting through its Executive Director, whereby the University of Kansas Medical Center will provide additional case management services to eligible clients in the Kansas City Transitional Grant Area (TGA) for the period of March 1, 2007 through February 28, 2010, for a total contract amount not to exceed $331,514.85 to be paid from funds previously appropriated in Account No. 09-2730-505003-B, is hereby accepted and approved. A copy of the amendment, in substantial form, is attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
