ORDINANCE NO. 941029

 

Authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into a Second Supplement to Agreement No. 930766 with Cook, Flatt, and Strobel for engineering services for the Rockwell Lane Bridge over Brush Creek replacement project; and authorizing the expenditure of $4,320.00 in previously appropriated funds therefor.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

 

Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into and execute, on behalf of Kansas City, a Second Supplement to Agreement No. 930766, with Cook, Flatt, and Strobel for engineering services in connection with the replacement of the Rockwell Lane Bridge over Brush Creek to be completed in two phases:

 

Phase A: Engineering Design Services Phase B: Construction Observation

 

to expand the scope of Phase A, Kansas City, Missouri, Council District 4, Project No. 5377. The agreement shall be essentially in the form which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

 

Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to expend the sum of $4,320.00 from funds heretofore appropriated to Account No. 94-399-089-7411-T as and for consideration for the Second Supplement.

I hereby certify that there is a balance, otherwise unencumbered, to the credit of the appropriation to which the foregoing expenditure is to be charged, and a cash balance, otherwise unencumbered, in the treasury, to the credit of the fund from which payment is to be made, each sufficient to meet the obligation hereby incurred.
