ORDINANCE NO. 940430

Adjusting appropriations by $15,000.00 in order to provide for payment of the City's share of the cost of conducting the Mid- America Regional Council's Intermodal Freight Transportation Study, and recognizing an emergency.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY:

Section 1. That the appropriation in the following account of the Capital Improvements Fund is hereby reduced by the following amount:

94-309-089-7008T Quality Hill $15,000.00

Section 2. That the sum of $15,000.00 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the Capital Improvements Fund to the following account in the Capital Improvements Fund:

94-309-089-7024T Intermodal Freight Transportation $15,000.00 Study

Section 3. That the Director of Public Works is hereby designated as requisitioning authority on Account No. 94-309-089- 7024T.

Section 4. That this ordinance, making provision for the current expenses of City government, is recognized as an emergency measure within the provisions of Article II, Section 15 of the Charter of Kansas City, Missouri, and shall take effect immediately upon passage.
